At Lagos Food Bank Initiative, two of our cultures are that we are Future minded and Goal driven. We believe that setting goals helps align our focus and vision which is to be the nation’s leading hunger-relief organization that provides access to sufficient and nutritious food for all.
Highlights of the Goals:
Goal 1: Raise N380 million ($500,000) in annual revenue which will enable us to maintain and expand our humanitarian services across board.
Goal 2: Pilot agricultural recovery program to help farmers and agricultural based organizations curb food loss strategic partnerships.
Goal 3: Conclude ongoing hunger research and continuously work to educate all stakeholders – policymakers, supporters, partners, and food-insecure individuals.
Goal 4: Strengthen resilience programs that improve the economic status of beneficiaries to reach at least 300 (three hundred) families consisting mainly of widows, aged and the most vulnerable in society.
Goal 5: Strengthen nutrition focused programs: NUMEPLAN, NIDS and EDUFOOD and health education.
Goal 6: Improve upon donor retention strategies to achieve 75% donations towards our daily/monthly food relief intervention programs.
Goal 7: Increase food sourcing and supply by 30% and strengthen food rescue program to help curb food wastage through partnerships with food based organizations.
Goal 8: Strengthen all programs to improve the quality of service to beneficiaries and support them in their pursuit of improved quality of life and greater stability.
Goal 9: Expand infrastructure personnel and warehouse facilities to ease operations and food supply.
Goal 10: Explore technology-based technologies that improve operational efficiencies and volunteer management.
Goal 11: Increase volunteer capacity by 2,500 to serve LFBI’s food relief intervention programs.
Goal 12: Onboard 50 more beneficiary organizations to increase LFBI’s impact and footprints in more states in Nigeria.
