On Monday, 13th of March 2023 Lagos Food Bank Initiative donated food items to credible NGOs who are focused on nutrition intervention across under-served communities in Nigeria through the Food Bank Network Nigeria program.

There was a general get-to-know session that kick-started the distribution, each NGO present shared the stories of their organization and all the impact they are making across Nigeria.

The Partner Agency Relations Officer took the training session where she gave an intensive presentation on Building a Sustainable NGO.

Dr Michael Sunbola, the Executive Director of LFBI concluded the training by sharing key insights on how to sustain a non-profit organization to ensure continuity of impact.

Mr Adeyeni Adebesin, the Project Director of Remilekun Foundation stated that the training session was highly impactful and has opened his eyes to areas that needed improvement within his NGO.

In the second session of the program, all the NGOs present received the donated food items and joyously expressed their gratitude for the donation.

The donated items will help the NGOs to reach more beneficiaries in their communities across and reduce the impact of hunger and food insecurity in Nigeria.
