On this day, 10th of April 2024, the Lagos Food Bank Initiative is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Anthony Ellis to its esteemed Board of Trustees.

Mr Ellis has over 35 years of commercial experience in a variety of sectors. Following his military career, Antony moved into commercial enterprise before joining Royal Dutch Shell in the Hague. During his 20-year tenure at Shell, he was responsible for the supply chain activities for Shell’s Global Deepwater and FPSO projects. He has served as a non-executive director in the UK’s National Health Service and during his time in Port Harcourt supported several NGOs including a Food Provision charity supporting homeless children and mothers.

As a seasoned professional, Mr. Ellis brings a depth of knowledge and a proven track record of success to the Lagos Food Bank’s board. He has a passion for understanding leadership trends and organisational culture and has imbibed the vision and commitment to driving positive change in the non-governmental sector. With his wealth of experience and dedication to our mission, he is poised to make significant contributions to Lagos Food Bank’s growth and governance.
