TEFAP x MICROSOFT

The “Season of Love” beckons us to convey sincere gestures of care and generosity to our loved ones and extend a helping hand to those in need of support. It is also an opportunity to bring hope to those facing socio-economic challenges and most affected by rising living costs.

Through an act of kindness, Microsoft Corporation will be partnering with Lagos Food Bank Initiative to cater to vulnerable families in low-cost communities with food and personal care items through the Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).

ABOUT OUR PARTNER:

Microsoft is an American multinational technology corporation headquartered in Redmond, Washington. Microsoft’s best-known software products are the Windows line of operating systems, the Microsoft 365 suite of productivity applications, and the Edge web browser.

GOAL: To mitigate the prevalence of food insecurity affecting vulnerable families in low-income communities.

OBJECTIVES:

1. To provide food and personal care items to vulnerable individuals to improve their health and well
2. To ensure equitable access to nutritious food for all.
3. To combat hunger by eliminating food insecurity in low-cost communities.
