On Saturday 27th January 2024, the Lagos Food Bank Initiative in partnership with Sun King will implement its Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) to reach vulnerable families in Majidun community Ikorodu with food relief items that will sustain a family of 5 for a month.
Lagos Food Bank provides healthy and nutritious meals for people in several communities to enhance the general wellbeing of Beneficiaries. Lagos Food Bank is committed to SDG 2 which focuses on achieving zero hunger. This has been consistent for over 7 years since inception.
ABOUT OUR PARTNER
Sun King is the world’s leading off-grid solar energy company. They design, distribute, install, and finance solar energy solutions for those who cannot access or afford traditional electrical grid connections.
GOAL
The goal of this outreach is to provide the beneficiaries with nutritious food relief thereby allowing them to focus on diverting their limited funds to address their pressing needs.

- To cushion the effect of hike in price of goods and services especially with the current economic downturn.
- To bring succor to the hearts of families living in Ikorodu
