On Saturday 7th October 2023, Bloomberg L.P, in partnership with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative, will reach out to vulnerable women with immediate food, nutrition and relief materials through its Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) at the Food Bank Warehouse.
The Lagos Food Bank is steadfast in its commitment to ensuring equitable access to nourishment for all. The food items provided have the capacity to sustain a family of 4 or 5 members for approximately 2 to 4 weeks, thereby alleviating food insecurity and ensuring sufficient nourishment for vulnerable households.

Bloomberg L.P. is a privately held financial, software, data, and media company headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.
GOAL:
The aim of this outreach is to combat the issue of food insecurity among vulnerable women by supplying them with healthy and nutritious staple food items capable of sustaining beneficiary families for a period of 2-4 weeks.
OBJECTIVES:
- To offer nutritious food to indigent households to promote healthy living.
- To eliminate hunger by addressing instances of food insecurity.
- To ensure the proper distribution of food in low-income communities for enhanced productivity
