The World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated every 1st to 7th of August to encourage breastfeeding and improve the health of babies around the world. This year’s theme is tagged “Step Up For Breastfeeding: Educate and Support”.
The NUMEPLAN program of Lagos Food Bank Initiative will be hosting a seminar to enlighten our beneficiaries on the topic “Step Up For Breastfeeding: Educating and Supporting Breastfeeding Mothers in Low-cost Communities.”
This event is set to raise awareness on the importance of breastfeeding and community support for mothers, alongside counseling on child survival strategies.
