Oworonshoki is a suburb in Lagos State, Nigeria. The community is under the Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State. The community connects the mainland and island areas of Lagos through the third mainland bridge. It is a land of commerce, culture, and tradition. The main source of income is fishing as Oworonshoki has a waterfront within its boundaries.

The Global Food Banking Network (GFN) is an international nonprofit that works towards a hunger-free future in more than 40 countries by sustaining, uniting and strengthening food banks. They believe that food banks are an integral and viable solution in empowering the world to defeat hunger and change lives.

Our goal is to reach vulnerable women in low-cost communities by providing them with basic needs that will sustain a family of 5 for 2-4 weeks thereby reducing the effect of the subsidy removal.
