On Saturday, 13th of May 2023, Lagos Food Bank Initiative will reach out to vulnerable households in Olowolagba community, Yaba through the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) by providing them with food relief and personal care items in to commemorate the birthday celebration of Mrs Funmi Osineye with family and friends.
Lagos Food Bank focuses on making healthy and nutritious meals available for all and to ensure that every beneficiary has access to food. Lagos Food Bank has been delivering hope to the under-served communities for 7 years, and this outreach will further the attainment of SDG 2: zero hunger
GOAL:
The goal of this partnership is to reach vulnerable households with staple food items and their nutritional needs so they can focus their resources on other long term needs.
OBJECTIVES
- To provide vulnerable families with nutritious food relief and personal care items.
- To provide nutrition education and encourage general healthy living of older beneficiaries.
- To bring hope and a sense of belonging to residents of low-income communities.
