On Thursday, 9th of March 2023, the school feeding program of the Lagos Food Bank Initiative (EDUFOOD) will reach out to children living in low cost communities with nutritional meals and education on the importance of healthy meals in celebration of the International School Meals Day.
The International School Meals Day is celebrated every second Thursday in the month of March to create awareness about healthy eating for all children around the world, and ensuring every child has access to education, health and nutrition. This year will be the 11th ISMD with theme “Our Changing Food – methods, menus and meals” which aims to highlight methods, menus and meals’
