On Sunday 26th March 2023, the Lagos Food Bank Initiative will implement its Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) in partnership with Mars Wrigley Nigeria to commemorate the 2023 Ramadan festivities by reaching vulnerable muslim families in Lagos State with food relief items that will sustain a family of 4/5 for about 2-4 weeks.

In line with achieving SDG 2: Zero Hunger through the TEFAP program, LFBI caters to the immediate hunger and nutritional welfare of vulnerable beneficiaries with food and personal care items.

To meet the needs of the most vulnerable families at Ajegunle-Agege, we aim to reach out to vulnerable people that are in dire economic and physical straits to give them hope and assistance that will support better outcomes for them and their loved ones.

OBJECTIVES

  • To bring food relief to the vulnerable members of the community in celebration of Ramadan.
  • To provide beneficiaries with dietary counseling, nutrition education and general healthy living.
  • To bring hope and a sense of belonging to residents of under served communities.
