In partnership with Tonic Technologies this Tuesday 19th of September 2023, Lagos Food Bank Initiative will reach out to food insecure children living in low cost communities through the Education Enhancement Intervention for Food Insecure Students (EDUFOOD) program to cater to their immediate nutritional needs.
ABOUT OUR PARTNER:
Tonic Technologies is a FinTech startup focused on providing virtual and professional solutions in monetary activities and payment solutions.
GOALS
This outreach is aimed at providing nutritious meals to improve the nutritional status and health of food insecure students.
OBJECTIVES
1. To cater to the immediate nutritional needs of food insecure children in low cost primary schools
2. To increase and maintain school attendance in low-cost schools
3. To provide access to sufficient food and nutrient intake physical growth, cognitive development, and general well being.
