It is with great pleasure that we announce the second edition of the Car Wash Fundraiser tagged “Wash A Car, Feed A Child 2.0” scheduled to hold on Sunday 30th April, 2023 at the Food Bank Warehouse.
The fundraiser which is focused on raising funding for the school feeding program (EDUFOOD) of the Lagos Food Bank which caters to food insecure primary school students living within low cost communities.
The car wash fundraiser will be followed by an after party which includes side attractions like music, games, lots of food and drinks and an opportunity for volunteers and guests to network and have maximum fun.
GOALS
To raise funding for the school feeding program which caters to the nutritional needs of vulnerable primary school children in low cost communities.
OBJECTIVES
- To increase the number of schools LFBI caters through the school feeding program.
- To end malnutrition among school children by providing nutritious meals to them.
- To increase the rate of enrollment and attendance within the schools LFBI serves.
