On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, the Lagos Food Bank Initiative (LFBI) partnered with Polo Limited (Polo Luxury) for a special Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) outreach in Shasha Community, Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos. Through its CSR arm, Polo Charity, the company chose to turn its longstanding philosophy of “The Reward of Success” into tangible hope for vulnerable families.
Established over 38 years ago, Polo Limited is one of Africa’s foremost luxury goods companies, renowned for representing some of the world’s most prestigious watchmaking, fine jewellery and lifestyle Maisons. Guided by a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and authenticity, the company extended that same standard of excellence into community impact by supporting families facing food insecurity.
The outreach provided essential food support to resilient women and their households in Shasha. For many low-income families who spend a significant portion of their daily income on feeding, the food boxes offered immediate relief and the opportunity to redirect limited resources toward other critical household needs.
The Lagos Food Bank Initiative expressed appreciation to Polo Limited for choosing to make a difference through practical action. The partnership reflects a shared understanding that success finds its fullest expression when it is used to lift others.
For the beneficiaries in Shasha, the food boxes represented more than nourishment. They delivered dignity, reduced the daily pressure of food insecurity, and served as a reminder that they had not been forgotten.
This collaboration between Polo Limited and the Lagos Food Bank Initiative continues the Food Bank’s mission to combat hunger through programmes like TEFAP. Together, they demonstrate how corporate purpose can be translated into meaningful community impact.
