“They may be small, but their futures are BIG…” – Faith Adewale

On Monday, September 7, 2026, the Lagos Food Bank Initiative (LFBI) welcomed Dr. Faith Adewale for a special NUMEPLAN outreach focused on supporting malnourished babies and their caregivers. Held at the Food Bank warehouse, the outreach provided nutritious food, practical nutrition education, and essential health checks to help families take important steps towards recovery.

With additional support from Pocari Sweat, the day became an opportunity to nourish not just little bodies, but also equip caregivers with the knowledge they need to continue supporting their children’s health beyond the outreach.

NUMEPLAN (Nutritious Meal Plan Intervention for Vulnerable Mothers and Children) remains one of LFBI’s flagship nutrition programs, designed to improve the food intake and overall wellbeing of malnourished infants, young children, and their mothers during the most critical stages of growth and development.

Dr. Faith Adewale, who previously volunteered under the NUMEPLAN program, returned with purpose and compassion. His presence brought energy and encouragement as he joined hands with LFBI staff and volunteers to serve the families. The outreach reaffirmed his commitment to using his platform for meaningful social impact, particularly in the fight against child malnutrition.
