In the spirit of Ramadan, a time of reflection and supplication, Lateef Adedimeji will be teaming up with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative on the 19th of March, 2025, to provide food support for Muslim households in underserved communities, through the Ramadan Food Assistance Program of the Food Bank.
In a bid to foster equitable access to quality nutrition, this timely outreach is set to address food insecurity affecting Muslim households during the fasting period, while bridging the hunger gap to encourage resilience and general well being.
GOAL:
To ease the burden on Muslim families in underserved communities that are struggling to access basic needs including food.
OBJECTIVES:
- To support Muslim households in low-income communities with nourishment during the fasting period
- To provide resilient Muslim families with food and essential item
