Special occasions like thanksgivings and birthday anniversaries present the perfect opportunity to celebrate with family and friends, and also reach out to those most in need of care and support in underserved communities to share the joy of the occasion and express gratitude for the gift of life.
In the light of this, on Saturday 23rd November Lagos Food Bank Initiative will partner with Esther Jimmy to provide nourishment, relief items and decent clothing to women and families in low-cost communities to mark her birthday, through the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).
GOAL:
To improve the well-being and nutritious status of food insecure households in low-cost communities.
OBJECTIVE:
- To provide nutrition, decent clothing and relief items for vulnerable households.
- To address food insecurity affecting families in low-cost communities.
