On Saturday 28th June 2025, Lagos Food Bank Initiative will partner with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Incorporation to provide nutrition and relief items to resilient families in Oshodi Community in Lagos through the TEFAP intervention. This outreach is set to mitigate the effect of the increased cost of food and other basic needs within low-income communities.

For the past 9 years, the Lagos Food Bank Initiative has remained steadfast in its mission to eradicate hunger, malnutrition, and poverty within the communities it serves. Strategic partnerships like this play a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s vision and bringing us closer to a future where no one goes hungry.

ABOUT THE COMMUNITY:

Oshodi is a major commercial and residential area in Lagos, Nigeria, known for its bustling markets, transportation hub, and vibrant, albeit sometimes chaotic, atmosphere. It’s a place of constant activity, with a mix of businesses, residential areas, and a central role in the city’s transportation network. Recent years have seen significant redevelopment efforts aimed at modernizing the area.
