Having partnered with Lagos Food Bank Initiative in 2024, and supported the Food Bank during the 2025 Walkathon fundraiser, Sun King Nigeria Limited will collaborate again with the Food Bank for another Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project to support vulnerable women and households in Molete community, Ibadan, Oyo state, on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, through the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). This outreach aims to provide vulnerable families in Molete community with staple foods that can sustain families for over two weeks.

Sun King Nigeria Limited is the world’s largest off-grid solar energy company. They design, distribute, and finance solar home energy systems for the 1.8 billion people without reliable access to the electrical grid. Molete is a historic, high-density commercial and transport hub in Ibadan, spanning the Ibadan Southwest and Ibadan Southeast Local Government Areas. It serves as a major gateway connecting key city areas like Challenge, Ring Road, and Dugbe, and is famously recognized for its iconic flyover, bustling market, and vibrant local culture.

GOAL:

This outreach aims to support resilient families that are affected by hunger and food insecurity.

OBJECTIVES:

To distribute nutritious staple foods to households.

To promote equitable access to nutrition in Molete community, Ibadan, Oyo state.
