In partnership with Trojan Estates Limited, Lagos Food Bank Initiative will be implementing a TEFAP in Surulere Community on the 28th May, 2022. Trojan Estates Limited is a Property Development Company geared towards bringing a new lifestyle/living concept to the Nigerian Property Market. Through our TEFAP program which caters to the welfare of vulnerable beneficiaries in the aspect of food and personal care and hygiene, we are continuing our good works of supplying relief to vulnerable indigent communities in South West, Nigeria.
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
The outreach will be held in Surulere community. Surulere is a residential and commercial Local Government Area located on the mainland of Lagos, Nigeria. The population of Surulere community is estimated to be 692,500. The area is bordered by Yaba, Mushin and Ebute-Metta.
GOAL: To bring relief and meet the nutritional needs of the most vulnerable people in Surulere community.
OBJECTIVES
- To provide food assistance to vulnerable people from low income households within the community.
- To provide beneficiaries with dietary counseling, nutrition education and general healthy living tips.
- To provide hope through our support and donations to influence positive behaviors amongst residents of this community.
