On Thursday, 22rd May 2025, the Lagos Food Bank Initiative will partner with Dorcas Shola Fapson, popularly known as Ms DSF for a special outreach under the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). Through this collaboration, vulnerable families in low-cost communities will receive staple foods, decent clothing, and essential relief items to sustain a family of 5 for up to two to three weeks.

Set to take place at the Lagos Food Bank warehouse, this outreach aims to lighten the load of soaring living costs, boost food security, and provide equal access to everyday essentials—sparking resilience and hope in the communities that need it most.

 

GOAL:

The goal of this outreach is to alleviate food insecurity and to improve the nutritional and health status of resilient women and families in low-cost communities.

 

OBJECTIVES:

To provide staple foods and personal care items for the well-being of households.

To improve the nutritional intake of women and families living below the poverty line.

To encourage healthy feeding through the provision of nourishment.
