In light of the current economic hardship and the ongoing protests, Lagos Food Bank Initiative will be supporting households most affected by these challenging times with food relief assistance. Scheduled to take place at the food bank warehouse on the 2nd of August 2024, this special distribution is crucial to alleviating some of the major challenges faced by many families living below the poverty line.
GOAL: The aim of this outreach is to help mitigate the effect of hardship and the ongoing protest on resilient households.
OBJECTIVES:
To provide food and personal care items to households for their sustenance during the protest.
To ensure equitable access to nutritious food for all amidst the present economic situation.
To combat hunger by eliminating food insecurity in low-cost communities.
