Through the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), the Lagos Food Bank Initiative will be reaching out to vulnerable households in Gbagada community to provide them with food relief and personal care items on Sunday, 29th of October 2023.

To further the attainment of SDG 2: zero hunger, Lagos Food Bank is dedicated to making healthy and nutritious meals available for all, ensuring that every beneficiary has access to food through well-organized community outreaches. For 7 years, the food bank has been delivering hope to the under-served communities of Lagos State through a host of intervention programs.

GOAL:

The goal of this partnership is to reach vulnerable households with staple food items for their nutritional needs so they can focus their resources on other long term needs.

OBJECTIVES:

  • To provide nutritious food items and personal care materials to vulnerable families.
  • To provide older beneficiaries with nutrition education and encourage general healthy living.
  • To bring hope and a sense of belonging to residents of low-income communities.
