In the spirit of giving back to vulnerable communities this festive period the Lagos Food Bank Initiative will reach out to its beneficiaries from Alimosho, Lagos Island, Agege and Ikorodu on Thursday, 14th of December 2023 through the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) in partnership with Talent P.E.O Africa
Due to the increasing cost of commodities, access to healthy and nutritious meals is more difficult for people living in low-income communities; this has further increased the need for food banks to render more support to the members of the communities, and we are delighted to partner with the Talent PEO Africa to increase our impact.

GOAL:
The goal of this outreach is to provide access to healthy meals for low-income households to reduce the burden of hunger in the beneficiaries’ families.
OBJECTIVES:
- To provide access to healthy nutritious meal and cloth relief to the people living in low-income communities.
- To reduce the rate of hunger and hunger-related crimes in the communities.
- To provide nutritious meals for children, the elderly and vulnerable adults through the donated food items.
