9 Payment Service Bank (PSB), a top digital bank in Nigeria in partnership with Lagos Food Bank Initiative will reach out to vulnerable households on Friday 24th of November 2023 at the Food Bank with food and personal care relief items in commemoration of the banks 3rd year anniversary.
This outreach serves as the organization’s way of giving back to their host communities, as it will reduce the burden of hunger in the low-income communities.
ABOUT OUR PARTNER:
9 Payment Service Bank (9PSB) was founded in Nigeria in 2020, becoming the country’s first payment service bank authorized by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). To provide unique banking services to the unbanked and underbanked. GOAL:
The goal of this outreach is to reduce the burden of hunger in the vulnerable population by providing
them with healthy and nutritious staple food items that would sustain the beneficiary families for a
period of 1-2 weeks.
OBJECTIVES:
- To improve the health of the older population through proper feeding and to encourage healthy
diet. - To ensure proper circulation of food in low-income communities for optimal productivity.
- To reduce the prevalence of social vices influenced by poverty and hunger.
