On Thursday July 25th, 2024, Lagos Food Bank Initiative will be hosting a food distribution event for 10 different non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in various regions of Nigeria. 

The event is aimed at providing nourishment to those in need, including individuals and families who require assistance. The food bank works in partnership with NGOs focusing on nutrition to increase their impact and ensure that more people have access to healthy and nutritious food, which is crucial for optimal growth, function, and health. 

This partnership will provide non-profits across Nigeria with the necessary resources to end hunger and malnutrition throughout the country.

GOAL OF THE OUTREACH:

The outreach aims to provide food items and other relief materials to low-income families.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. To reduce the food gap in low-income communities: By providing them with healthy and nutritious food. 
  2. Reach more people in need: By working together, we can expand our reach and ensure that more people have access to nutritious food.
  3. Strengthen the community: By working together, we can build a stronger network of support for those struggling with food insecurity.
