In alignment with SDG 2 & 4 – Zero Hunger and Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education, respectively, Lagos Food Bank Initiative will partner with Cornerstone Insurance PLC. to provide nourishing meals through the school feeding program (EDUFOOD) of the Food Bank. This initiative supports food-insecure children in low-cost private schools in underserved communities and is set to take place on February 12th, 2025.
ABOUT OUR PARTNER:
Cornerstone Insurance Plc was established to conduct insurance business in a professional, ethical and customer-focused manner. As part of its corporate brand strategy, the company implemented a re-branding exercise in 2008 to position Cornerstone as a leader in the industry, part of which was the unveiling of the new corporate identity for the company.
GOAL:
To ensure that children from low-income families have access to nutritious meals to enhance their school attendance and concentration in the classroom.
OBJECTIVES:
Consistently provide healthy meals to food-insecure school children.
Promote mental well-being through positive social interactions during mealtime.
