Do you know that one in five children in Nigeria is out of school, and only two-thirds of primary school-age children attend school regularly? Food insecurity significantly contributes to this issue. School meals are vital for keeping children in school and improving their health and academic performance.

On January 28th, 2025, the Lagos Food Bank will partner with Tonic Technologies (CardTonic) to provide nourishing meals through the EDUFOOD school feeding program. This initiative supports food-insecure children in low-cost private schools in underserved communities. Our actions align with SDG 2 & 4 – Zero Hunger and Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education, respectively.
