On the 27th of March 2024, Lagos Food Bank Initiative will be partnering with Dufil Prima Foods to mitigate the effect of increasing living costs contributing majorly to food insecurity affecting families in low-cost communities by providing food items to beneficiaries in Oworonshoki community through the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).
Given the economic strain adversely affecting the purchasing power of households living below the poverty line, this partnership is set to provide assistance to struggling families for their sustenance.
ABOUT OUR PARTNER:
Dufil Prima Foods is home to Nigeria’s most loved noodle brand, Indomie Instant Noodles. Through consistent backward integration efforts over the past decade, Dufil has established itself as the leader in the instant noodles category.
GOAL: The aim of this outreach is to provide nutritional support to vulnerable families in low-income communities.
OBJECTIVES:
- To provide equitable access to nutritious meals for families struggling economically.
- To improve the nutritional in-take of vulnerable families in low-cost communities.
- To curb food insecurity and malnutrition prevalent in low-cost communities.
