To combat the growing food insecurity facing vulnerable households, the Lagos Food Bank Initiative will partner with Ayo Maff on Saturday, 10th May 2025, for a special outreach under the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). Through this collaboration, vulnerable families in low-cost communities will receive staple foods, decent clothing, and essential relief items to sustain a family of 5 for up to two to three weeks.

Scheduled to be held at the Food Bank’s warehouse, this impactful outreach seeks to ease the burden of rising living costs, promote food security, and ensure equal access to basic necessities—ultimately building resilience where it’s needed most.

 

GOAL:

The goal of this outreach is to alleviate food insecurity and to improve the nutritional and health status of resilient women and families in low-cost communities.

 

OBJECTIVES:

To provide staple foods and personal care items for the well-being of households.

To improve the nutritional intake of women and families living below the poverty line.

To encourage healthy feeding through the provision of nourishment.
