In partnership with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) a global consulting firm that partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges, we will be implementing a TEFAP outreach in Apapa-Ijora community, Lagos on Saturday 14 th May, 2022. Through our TEFAP program which caters to the welfare of vulnerable beneficiaries in the aspect of food and personal care and hygiene, we are continuing our good works of supplying relief to vulnerable indigent communities in South West, Nigeria.
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Apapa-Ijora is a big community in Apapa-Iganmu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State. It is a centrally located neighborhood. Residents in this vicinity live in hardship and lack basic social amenities like potable water, electricity, primary health care, drainage systems, good roads and recreational facilities.
GOALS
To meet the needs of the most vulnerable families at Apapa-Ijora community, we aim to reach out to
vulnerable people that are in dire economic and physical straits to give them hope and assistance that
will support better outcomes for them and their loved ones.
OBJECTIVES
● To bring food relief to the vulnerable members of the community
● To provide beneficiaries with dietary counseling, nutrition education and general healthy living.
● To bring hope and a sense of belonging to residents of this underserved community.
