The Lagos Food Bank Initiative in partnership with LEAP Africa will hosts its volunteering community to an impactful celebration of the International Youth day, on Saturday 12th August 2023 through its TEFAP intervention targeted at providing food to vulnerable households as well as a youth-led seminar tagged: Enhancing The Role Of Social Responsibilities Across All Sectors.”
The Seminar session with guest speakers of high value from different spheres of growth and influence within their diverse sectors: Tope Okodugha (Founder/Lead designer MaiBecca), Seun Olagunju-Lana (Founder, The Development School Africa), Lukman Shobowale (Co-founder, Dukiya Investments) will speak on the topic: “The Importance of Social Responsibility in a Youthful Society”.
This Seminar is organised to showcase how the youth have a critical role to play across the diverse sectors. This includes having a sense of commitment to community in which they are able to actively engage in creating sustainable solutions to address societal issues within these communities. Following the session, a panel discussion on the topic “Entrepreneurship: The Secret to a Better Nigerian Economy”.
Lagos Food Bank will also reach its beneficiaries with food relief and personal care items which will sustain a family of 5 for 2-4 weeks.
