Do I need previous experience to volunteer?
No previous experience is required. LFBI provides guidance, orientation, and support for all volunteers. Whether you’re a first-time volunteer or experienced, there is a role for you.

How often are the Lagos Food Bank Outreaches held?
Our major outreaches are typically held on the last Saturday of each month. However, we also conduct smaller outreaches that may take place on weekdays.

Do I need to buy an LFBI branded T-SHIRT to participate at the outreach?
As a first time volunteer, you do. T-shirt prices are N8,000 or N12,000 while the High Quality Premium Polo is N15,000. Face caps are optional at N5,000 each. Payment should be made to our GTB Lagos Food Bank Account – 0461834490.
If you don’t have materials or money to contribute, does that disqualifies you from being a volunteer?
No, it does not, you are already donating you time.

As a first timer, do I get welcomed in a grand style?
Yes, we have a special way of welcoming you on board.
Are T-SHIRTS available few days before the outreach event?
Yes.
Can I pay for branded T-SHIRT on event day and get it immediately.
No, to purchase new TSHIRT, KINDLY pay before outreach, because t-shirt payment are no longer accepted on outreach day, only t-shirt pick up.
