In marking of World Hunger Day on Thursday, 28th May 2026 with the theme “The End of Hunger is in Our Hands.”, the Lagos Food Bank Initiative, through the Food Bank Network Nigeria (FBNN) will support 7 credible NGOs with food grants to strengthen their efforts in providing nourishment to food-insecure households in low-income communities across Nigeria.
This initiative reflects the power of collective action and highlights the critical role NGOs play within communities by delivering timely food support to individuals and families facing hunger, while recognizing the dedication of grassroots organizations serving vulnerable populations.
Through this partnership, nonprofits across Nigeria will be empowered with the financial grants and support needed to combat hunger and malnutrition, bringing us one step closer to a hunger-free nation..
Outreach Goal:
To provide nutritious food items and relief support to low-income families, while advancing the collective effort toward ending hunger in vulnerable communities.
