On Thursday 22nd May, 2025 the Lagos Food Bank Initiative officially announced the publication of its ninth annual report and financial statement for the fiscal year ‘24. The report highlights the food bank’s activities and overall impact in vulnerable communities across the country.

The Food Bank was awarded the Nonprofit of the Year 2024, and was recognized for empowering women by the prestigious Glowfux and TIAW World of Difference awards respectively, extending its footprints to 6 additional states in the country through the Food Banking Network Nigeria (FBNN) initiative.

With a significant increase in volunteer strength to 30,000 individuals, who contribute and support its targeted programs and are driven by the vision and mission of the organization, the Food Bank has impacted over 3 million lives in underserved communities.
