Through the Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), Helen Couture in partnership with Lagos Food Bank Initiative made the 14^th of December, 2021 a memorable day for the women in Dopemu community as they were gifted with boxes of hope filled with food and non-food items to serve them and their families for at least 2-4 weeks.

The Helen Couture team arrived in time to assist with the final packaging and arrangement of the boxes tagged ‘Packaged with Love’ at the designated area. As the beneficiaries arrived, they were arranged by LFBI volunteers assisted by the team to their individual boxes, as they all said words of prayers to the organization and Helen Couture. One of the beneficiaries , Mrs Odutayo lamented about how the prices of food had gone up within the month and was extremely grateful to the organization for the relief items.
