On Monday, 14th July 2025, the Lagos Food Bank Initiative will team up with celebrated Nollywood icon and humanitarian, Kate Henshaw, for a powerful outreach under the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).
This special collaboration marks more than just another distribution, it is a bold statement of solidarity in the fight against hunger and malnutrition affecting the most vulnerable among us. With Kate Henshaw lending her voice and presence to the cause, this outreach shines a brighter light on the urgent needs in low-income communities and the collective power of action.
Hosted at the Lagos Food Bank warehouse in Mangoro, Ikeja, the initiative will provide staple food items, decent clothing, and essential relief packages, each designed to sustain a family of five for up to two to three weeks. At a time when living costs continue to climb, this intervention offers more than material support, it delivers dignity, security, and a renewed sense of hope for underserved families striving to survive.
