Not having enough to eat remains one of the greatest challenges faced by low-income households, especially in underserved communities. Hunger not only affects health and well-being; it can also strip people of dignity when they are forced to seek food in difficult circumstances. Because food is a basic human right, not a privilege, Lagos Food Bank Initiative continues to step in to support vulnerable families.
On Wednesday, 11 March 2026, Lagos Food Bank Initiative, in collaboration with Erica Nlewedim, will reach resilient families affected by food insecurity through the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), providing food relief and hope to households in need.
