This Christmas season reminds us that food security goes far beyond filling empty plates—it restores dignity, safeguards health, and nurtures peace. When families are well nourished, hope is rekindled, children are empowered to grow strong, and communities gain the strength to thrive together. By sharing food, we help families flourish, reinforce unity, and build a lasting foundation for peace, joy, and collective progress.
On this note, come December 22, 2025, Lagos Food Bank Initiative will partner with TransactPay through the Family Farming program to set up women and youth in Agege community for sustainable urban backyard farming, and through the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) to support resilient families facing food insecurity in underserved communities.
