To celebrate her 55th birthday, renowned Nigerian actress, producer, entrepreneur, and Lagos Food Bank Initiative Ambassador, Kate Henshaw, will be partnering with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative on Monday, July 20th, 2026, for a special Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) outreach. Through this initiative, she will provide essential food support to resilient widows and their families in underserved communities across Lagos at the Lagos Food Bank warehouse in Ikeja.
GOAL
To provide immediate food relief and nutritional support to resilient widows and their families experiencing food insecurity in underserved communities.
OBJECTIVES
- To distribute nutritious food items to resilient widows and their families through the Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).
- To improve short-term food access for vulnerable households and reduce the immediate impact of hunger.
- To celebrate Kate Henshaw’s 55th birthday by extending hope, compassion, and essential support to underserved communities through meaningful social impact.
