In a bid to advance food security in Gbagada community, in Lagos State, Victory Empowerment Centre will partner with Lagos Food Bank Initiative for a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) engagement on Friday, 26th of June, 2026, through the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) to support vulnerable families by providing essential staple foods that can sustain families for over two weeks.

Gbagada is a highly sought-after, established residential suburb on the Lagos Mainland. Sitting between Kosofe and Shomolu Local Governments, it is famous for its strategic centrality—offering quick access to both the Mainland via the Expressway and Lagos Island via the Third Mainland Bridge.

Victory Empowerment Centre (VEC) is a technology-enabled financial inclusion institution operating in Nigeria with a mission to expand access to finance for underserved women, youth, micro-entrepreneurs, and economically active low-income communities. With over a decade of operational experience, VEC has developed a scalable community-based lending model that combines financial inclusion, digital financial services, and grassroots economic empowerment.
