In a remarkable act of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and birthday celebration of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), XE Jet partnered with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative (LFBI) to provide food and care materials to 1,000 vulnerable families at the Food Bank warehouse in Mangoro, Ikeja.
Held on November 2nd, 2025, the outreach was an inspiring display of how meaningful corporate social responsibility can transform lives and foster hope within underserved communities.

Through this partnership, XE Jet joined hands with LFBI’s dedicated volunteers to pack and distribute essential food items, including rice, garri, and cooking oil, to families struggling with food insecurity. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and joy as mothers, children, and caregivers received much-needed support that would sustain their households for weeks.
Speaking during the outreach, representatives from XE Jet reaffirmed the airline’s commitment to giving back to society and supporting initiatives that create real impact. “At XE Jet, we believe that progress is best measured by how much we uplift others. Partnering with Lagos Food Bank aligns with our vision to empower communities and build a future where no family goes hungry,” said the XE Jet team.

The Lagos Food Bank Initiative, through its Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), continues to serve as a lifeline for low-income families across Lagos, addressing immediate hunger needs while promoting long-term food security and resilience.
This partnership with XE Jet underscores the power of corporate collaboration in driving social change, showing that when the private sector and humanitarian organizations unite, sustainable impact follows.
The Temporary Food Assistance Program is one of LFBI’s flagship initiatives aimed at providing immediate food relief to households experiencing hunger and malnutrition. It bridges the gap for vulnerable families while connecting them to other empowerment programs for lasting stability.
With partnerships like this, LFBI continues to prove that collective action can end hunger and restore dignity, one family, one meal, and one act of kindness at a time.
