What Is EduFood?

The Education Enhancement Intervention for Food Insecure Students (EDUFOOD) is a school-feeding and nutrition support program designed to improve learning outcomes for children from food-insecure households.

Volunteer Roles in EduFood

Food Packaging

Assist with sorting, packaging, and preparing food items before distribution.

School Distribution Support

Support safe and orderly meal distribution across assigned schools.

Nutrition Education Support

Help reinforce basic nutrition awareness during feeding activities.

Volunteer Expectations
  • Arrive at the warehouse before deployment
  • Follow LFBI safety and hygiene protocols
  • Wear LFBI branded T-shirt, trousers, and sneakers
  • Be respectful with children and school staff

Schedule & Locations

  • Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
  • Time: 9:00am – 1:00pm
  • Meeting Point: LFBI Food Bank Warehouse
  • Communities: Agege & Makoko

Volunteers must report to the warehouse. Direct school visits are not permitted.
