Food security goes beyond filling empty plates, it restores dignity, protects health, and nurtures peace. When families are well-nourished, they are empowered to live in harmony, not hardship. Ensuring access to food gives children the chance to grow strong, families the means to flourish, and communities the foundation to stand united in peace and progress.

On October 18th, 2025, Lagos Food Bank Initiative will partner with Kuda Microfinance Bank through the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) to support resilient families facing food insecurity in Makoko community, Lagos State.
