In a bid to strengthen community resilience and food security in underserved communities, Lagos Food Bank Initiative will partner with CWAY Group far two-phased outreach through the Education Enhancement Intervention for Food Insecure Students (EDUFOOD) and Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) to support schoolchildren and resilient households across 2 states: Lagos and Ogun.

With the first phase set to take place on the 17th of March, 2026, in Isolo Community, Lagos State, this initiative spotlights the importance of partnerships in addressing food insecurity affecting households in underserved communities nationwide.

ABOUT THE COMMUNITY:

Isolo is a bustling, densely populated community in Lagos State, Nigeria, located within the Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area (LGA) and overseen by the Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA). It is a vibrant commercial and residential suburb featuring a mix of middle-class residential areas (like Ajao Estate), local markets, and diverse industries, offering a blend of traditional Yoruba culture and urban hustle.

CWAY Group is a multinational company founded in 1999 that manufactures drinking water, beverages, snacks, and home appliances, with a strong presence in Nigeria.

To promote food security and community resilience by nourishing schoolchildren and families in Isolo community.
