For ten years, Lagos Food Bank Initiative has remained committed to reducing hunger, improving nutrition, and restoring dignity to vulnerable households across Lagos State. What began as a bold step toward addressing food insecurity has grown into a sustained movement of compassion, structure, and measurable impact.
As part of the nonprofit’s 10th Anniversary celebration, on Saturday, 14th February 2026, the Food Bank will host a commemorative special edition of the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), reaching families facing food insecurity in underserved communities across Lagos.
This milestone outreach reflects a decade-long commitment to providing nutritious food, empowering households, and building resilient communities, even in times of economic strain.
GOAL
To celebrate 10 years of impact by expanding access to nutritious food for vulnerable families.
OBJECTIVES
- Provide food assistance to households experiencing food insecurity.
- Distribute food packs that can sustain a family for several weeks.
