On Saturday, October 17, 2026, the Lagos Food Bank Initiative (LFBI) partnered with JMG Limited for the first time to provide food assistance to families in Majidun, Ikorodu, through the Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). The outreach formed part of LFBI’s World Food Day 2026 series, with a strong turnout of JMG employees participating in the exercise.

JMG Limited, an electromechanical solutions company, joined LFBI staff and volunteers in packaging and distributing food boxes to households experiencing food insecurity. The active participation of its team brought a hands-on dimension to the partnership, as employees contributed directly to preparing and delivering essential food support to families in the community.

Addressing the gathering, Christian Kozma, Chief Operating Officer of JMG Limited, commended the volunteers and team members for their dedication and active participation in the outreach. He spoke about the importance of giving back and supporting communities, noting that when people come together to help others, their efforts can create a lasting difference..

For families in Majidun, Ikorodu, the food boxes provided practical support towards meeting their household food needs. At a time when securing daily meals can be a challenge, access to essential food items offered some relief and helped ease the pressure on family resources.

JMG Limited’s first partnership with LFBI added to the Food Bank’s World Food Day 2026 efforts to reach communities facing food insecurity. Through collaborations that bring organisations and their employees into direct community action, LFBI continues to extend food assistance to households that need it.
