On Nigeria’s Independence Day, Thursday, October 1, 2026, the Lagos Food Bank Initiative (LFBI) warehouse in Mangoro, Ikeja, pulsed with purpose, laughter, and high energy as renowned comedian and content creator Shank Comics (Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel) partnered with the Food Bank for a special Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) outreach.

True to his vibrant and larger-than-life personality, Shank brought infectious energy to the day. He joined LFBI staff and volunteers in packaging and distributing nutritious food boxes to resilient women and families from underserved communities facing food insecurity.
