“Strategic partnerships like this is very important in sustaining women and families in low-cost communities especially at a time where the underprivileged are facing economic difficulties due to the high cost of living, triggered by increasing inflation rates,” was the words of the Executive Director/Founder of Lagos Food Bank Initiative, Dr. Michael Sunbola, during his speech at the outreach.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Stren & Blan Partners partnered with Lagos Food Bank Initiative on the 8th of March 2024, to support women from Alimosho LGA in Lagos State, through the temporary food assistance program of the food bank.
Present and in participation of the outreach activities were representatives of the partner organization, Stren & Blan Partners, who joyfully engaged the beneficiaries with dancing as they gave them their boxes of love. As a way of appreciating and encouraging the crafts of women catered for, a competition among them took place in three categories where the winners received two hundred and fifty thousand naira each.
