The Lagos Food Bank Initiative in collaboration with the Novateur Training Class of Fidelity Bank Plc on Saturday 23 rd of April 2022, provided the fasting Muslims within the Agege community of Lagos State with food relief materials to mark the season of Ramadan. The event was conducted under The Temporary Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) to provide the vulnerable women within the Agege community with food relief supplies that would sustain the family for 2-3 weeks.
The Novateur Training Class team played a significant role alongside the volunteers as they assisted in the arrangement of the food relief items while ensuring the smooth coordination and distribution of the food relief boxes. The registered beneficiaries were presented with food relief materials, while they were taken on engaging sessions on healthy living, dietary counseling, nutrition education, and meal planning. A representative of the Novateur Training Class spoke in appreciation to the Lagos Food Bank for the opportunity to have taken part in the community intervention and be able to have made a visible impact across indigent families and residents of the community.
